Agricultural Objectives by Polarimetric Radar Estimation

Agricultural targets mainly concern towards the preservation of the soil and crop productivity. Recent study and analysis of radars in the field of agriculture has determined that interaction of the radar pulses with various conditions of soil have significantly affected backscattering. On discussion to soil conditions, may account such as the moisture content availed and soil tillage. Tilling affects the roughness of the soil and level of residue present in it. This paper provides a complete review about the application of polarimetric technique in analysis of soil at various conditions.Various parameters such as pedestal height in determining the unpolarised waves, copolarisation phase difference in characterizing the backscattering of pulses contribute for analyzing the example cases are discussed. Since the sensitivity of the polarimetric radar is in surface evaluation is appreciable, the data through polarimetry is satisfactory. The example cases described were the analysis, evaluated with the parameters mentioned above.
